Perched in the cooler highlands of Nyerere National Park, Beho Beho Main Camp offers an intimate and highly exclusive safari experience. As the first permanent camp in the park, it enjoys a unique location with sweeping views of the surrounding wilderness. Unlike traditional tented camps, Beho Beho’s stone-built, palm-thatched bandas provide a balance of comfort, sophistication, and connection to nature. Personalized service and privacy define this sanctuary of tranquility.

The camp consists of eight spacious bandas, each crafted from local stone and topped with palm thatch to blend harmoniously into the landscape. The open-fronted design allows uninterrupted views of the valley below, immersing guests in the sights and sounds of the African bush. Each banda features a luxurious king-sized bed, a writing desk, a comfortable sitting area, and an en-suite bathroom with twin basins, an open-air shower, and, since 2019, a private plunge pool for ultimate relaxation.

Dining at Beho Beho is an ever-changing experience, with meals served in scenic locations around the camp. Guests enjoy alfresco breakfasts during game drives, leisurely lunches on the terrace, and candlelit dinners under the stars or in the elegant main house.
